Anyone else get a sneak preview on monday? I went to it and LOVED it!! Im most likely going to see it again this weekend. Im not that into zombie movies, but this one is great!
I dont want to give anything away, so Im not gonna add anything else ...
I love comics and movies Favorite comic book characters, besides the obvious ones (ie: Superman, Batman, etc) Moon Knight, Punisher, Hulk, Deadpool, Maverick, Silver Surfer, Juggernuaght, Shatterstar, Wolverine (when he was 'Patch'), DareDevil, Winter Soldier, and of coarse Captain America.
As for sports, Nothing beats Hockey, but I like Football too. Im a San Jose Sharks fan, so if any of you are in Dallas, you might catch me at a game when SJ is playin there.
All Time Favorite Movies:
Too many to list, so, I'll post a few movies that I could watch over and over and not get tired of: Blazzing Saddles, Young Frankestien, American Psycho, Equalibrium, The Jerk, The Princess Bride, Clerks II, Miracle, Slap Shot, Casino Royale (the good one, not the 1967 one), Rocky IV, Barry Gordy's The Last Dragon, Full Metal Jacket, Heartbreak Ridge, Blues Brothers, Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man, Gremlins, Little Shop of Horrors, Ghostbusters, Hudson Hawk, The Jerk, and almost all Martial Arts films no matter how bad.
All Time Worst Movies:
So many, but let me say this, I HATE the stupid slasher films that have been coming out the past 10 years! The only thing "scary" about them is how much it cost to see them. The only exception to this are the three movies made by Rob Zombie and Grindhouse. Still dont find them scary, but atleast I dont feel like a rape victim after paying to watch his movies.
Favorite Actors or Actresses:
Christian Bale, Daniel Day Lewis, Jason Statham, Rudger Hauer (spell check), Robert Downey Jr, Mickey Rourke, Kiera Knightley, Adam Baldwin (No relation to Alec), Micheal Cane, Ben Kingsley, Paul Newman, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Edward Norton, ummmm.....

Hello Marc Spector, ( Loved your comics in the eighties, how's "frenchie"?)
I think a LOT of people WILL feel content, to just hold onto their DVD versions, be it theatrical or Director's cut, but I recently converted to Blu-ray and I can NOT believe the difference in picture quality & Sound! I have currently been picking up "duplicates" *so to speak* of my favorite "Blockbuster" movies on Blu-ray to get more Bang out of seeing these films at home. I will ONLY do this on "select" films * I see NO need to get comedies, dramas, & TV shows I already own on DVD in the Blu-ray format *With the recent exception of the Classic Star Trek series with the digital remastering and new special effects...Worth seeing! * It's been my life long dream to have a home theater, and I'm no cinephile with a Bill Gates budget , I have a 52" Samsung LCD tv & low end Samsung Blu-ray player *working on upgrading our sound system* fairly modest range... my family and I have been enjoying it TREMENDOUSLY, movies are better at HOME now!
The following are a list of Blu-ray movies I own that look pretty good on Blu-ray.
*Provided with the caveat ..you have to LIKE the films in question in the first place to justify getting them on Blu-ray*
Any of the recent Superhero movies of this decade look pretty good...
X-men series, 2 Fantastic Four films, Spiderman series, Superman Returns, Sin City, Watchmen...
Depending on the studio, original prints, and remastering process *or lack thereof * some movies can look REAL grainy esp. by certain directors or films from the eighties.. examples of grainy films Predator and Robocop
Some exceptions to this, where John Carpenter's The Thing are bare bones and a bit grainy, his 80's films Starman, and Big Trouble in Little China look great! Also Robocop from Lions Gate is grainy yet Starship Troopers looks great!
The pixar movies look amazing the details just "POP", so does Disney's Earth
These also look great!
The classic Star Trek films , the Next Gen Star Trek films, The Harry Potter series, Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy, King Kong (Peter Jackson), 2001, Braveheart, Blade Runner, Kingdom of Heaven, & Apocalypto
Also NOT for everyone but I've recently picked up classic 60's & 70's films on Blu-ray for a dirt cheap like:
Bullit, The Dirty Harry series .. they look and SOUND great! some of the details are vivid.
I try to only by Blu-rays on sale combined with coupons and price matching and try to ONLY spend $10- $15 a piece on them. Happy Hunting!
well done on steve zahn man i love it lets see about nolan so!
I was thinking if he was a psychopathic riddler maybe Bill Hader or Jon Cryer.
But Good Job again!
If you like the most powerful rock band ever created, sasquatch, karate, friendship, worshiping Satan (after rocking his ass off) or rocket sauce; Prepare yourself for the D.
Downloading anything on the internet can be risky. So is the case with online bootleg movie downloads. Some websites intend to take away your money giving you poor quality movies. There are also several websites that offer good online movies. So y...
