Ridley Scott goes back to 2019.

So recent news say that Ridley Scott will helm the Blade Runner related projects (either prequel or sequel not yet known). What do you think honestly of this piece of news?  See More

A Manhunt movie directed by Eli Roth.

So recently I released my frustration by killing, in various and violent ways, people in the game MANHUNT. Afterwards I started thinking how would this game translate into a movie and Eli Roth came to mind. How frakking awesome would be if he picked up this game and turn it into a visual gore fest.

If you dont know what game im talking about, here´s the link for… Continue

"The Spectacular Spider-Man"

Just watched yesterday the entire first season and... wow, I mean WOW.This show deserves the title Spectacular.

The first episode cuts directly to Peter Parker being is alter ego for some months (skipping for now the origin which is already know to everybody that read the comics or watched the previous series or movies) and having a relative normal life going to school, webbing around and living with Aunt May. His circle of friends and family… Continue

A Samurai movie marathon.

So a friend of mine is a western fanatic, particularly the Spaghetti Western by Sergio Leone. During a recent conversation with about remakes (he fucking hates them) I told him about the movie "A Fistful of Dollars" being a adaptation/remake of Akira Kurosawa's "Yojimbo". And he got that expression "WTF are you talking about", and I mention a buch of movies like "The 7 Samurai" inspired "The Magnificent Seven" and "The hidden fortress" George Lucas "Star Wars". So after a very long discussion I… Continue

Brett Ratner Off Conan (thank CROM)

Source:Empire

Empire magazine spoke to Conan and Red Sonja producer Joe Gatta, who said that Brett Ratner is not attached to direct the former anymore:

"We're currently in the process of hiring a director," he told us. "For the past six months we were discussing the movie with Brett Ratner, and for more timing issues than anything else we had to part ways with Brett. We all wanted him to do it, believe me; just the timing didn't work. But you never know what…

The way to go with a BLADE RUNNER sequel

BLADE RUNNER. The name alone is enough to fill me up with happiness for the existence of such a movie. Once someone asked me why that was my all time favorite movie? From the various answers I could give at that moment the most simple was "I watched that movie more than 50 times and I loved it every time!".

Now the very recent final cut of the movie was for me the very best, and I was happy to know that Ridley Scott was still very involved… Continue

ROBOCOP and Darren Aronofsky... the ultimate WTF moment!!!

So... A ROBOCOP remake by Darren Aronofsky. Wow...hum... eheh... I mean... WHY?

And I was here thinking that the fabled weapons grade crystal meth didn't exist but it does. And Darren has been taking a truckload of it. I mean Jesus, ROBOCOP was a product of the of the 80's and even back then nobody took it seriously. I love the movie because it was violent, humorous (dark humor that is) and it has "guns, guns, guns" explosions and big… Continue

A word about the future X-MEN ORIGINS:MAGNETO

So another MARVEL comics movie is out there and the next ones are lining up. Maintaining the X-MEN topic I will give my two cents about the X-MEN ORIGINS:MAGNETO.

So what is the way to go with this movie? Are we going into a "Hannibal Rising" way in which the young boy seeks revenge for the murder of is parents? Most probably. In the first X-Men movie the first minutes show a piece of life of a young Magneto in a prisoner camp and the death… Continue

A word about a future SPLINTER CELL movie

I am a big fan of the SPLINTER CELL game series. I think it is one of the best action/stealth games that completely immerses me into the world of international espionage.

Now one of my biggest fears about a possible transition of this game into a live action movie is that Uwe Bowl grabs this one and turns it into another of his crapfest movies that we are all already sick off.

So... ill… Continue
