Watchmen movie is like taking whippets
I have noticed, at least amongst people I know, that the initial viewing of the Watchmen was outstanding and an event to behold. But once they left the theater the feeling passed like a fart in the wind. While none say the movie sucked, people do seem to act like it was a different movie afterwards. Once they were allowed to think again it didn't seem like the it had the same effect. Makes me wonder if the squid is present in the movie after all. As for Brick, it didn't come to mind when I made that list.
And I totally disagree with your opinion that Hot Rod was a terrible movie. I'm telling you, dude, we're going to have to sit down and watch it together. My laughter is infectious and you might end up enjoying it. And yes, it's true, I am a laugh zombie, spreading joviality through my cackling.
And now that you mention it, Korey and I haven't talked about our Commander McBragg idea in over a year. Honestly, Big Fish already "stole" the ending I had planned.
