I dreamt that I met Korey, who in turn introduced me to Carlyle. After hitting it off, we gathered up some weed, crushed it up, and made a drink out of it. That's about all I can remember, oddly enough.

Matt's Retro-Reviews: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)

I am a very lucky guy. I was blessed enough to just find a copy of Terry Gilliam’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas on the Wal-Mart shelves recently. The legendary word-of-mouth about both the film and the book had me interested and 9 dollars wasn’t much to lay down for this movie. Oh, what a bargain, what a bargain!

This movie is fantastic. I’ve watched it 8 times since pu… Continue

The Upcoming Winners of 2009

In my last great revelation, I witnessed the upcoming cinematic tragedies in this Year of our Lord Two Thousand and Nine. I feel it is only fair and just to also name what excellent titles have been divined upon me. Light remains in this world, my children!

1) Star Trek

It hurts my credibility to name something that critics are already raving about, I admit. However, my hopes were already high before the surprise Austin screening with the second trailer. After the great betrayal by George Luca… Continue

That's very true. I simply used that example because A. ALL Disney cartoons have that kid friendly cutesy character (and in that film the gargoyles were that) and B. they annoyed the living crap out of me. It's a shame really, because I quite like quite a few of the sequences in that film.

Hey buddy, if you expected Wanted to be realistic, you should have never have seen it on the first place, I don't know why everybody hated it so much, I mean, if they read they graphic novel, they would have probably hated that more.

rumors that the Wachowski brothers stole the original idea

from who ? if you're refering to that woman you should know she lost the trial, and she also sued the creators of Terminator."the characters of Neo and John Connor wore the same" .don't think so.terminator is almost 30 years old so i truly suspect she was the one who's lying
and i if you're refering to Dark city that also is "inspired " by certain short stories
