The Lord of the Rings - it's really everything you want in a movie.
Star Wars: Episodes III-VI: Ok, honestly the original trilogy will always pwn those shitty prequels but I had to include Episode III because it was the best of the prequels (but not without its flaws) and Ian McDiarmid proves that ultimately, the Emperor pwns Darth Vader
The Godfather: Part I-II - it really is one of the greatest films ever. If you say it's overrated, there's something wrong with you
On The Waterfront - one of the best scripts ever written and one of Marlon Brando's best performances. He deserved that Oscar
Pirates of the Caribbean (all three of them) - You know, honestly, after the first one (which cannot be beat), you kinda question why it was necessary for two more sequels but what they lack in necessity, they make up for in...everything.
Dreamgirls - Jennifer Hudson is a force of nature
Borat - Very nice!
The Dark Knight - man, that was one of the best movies I've seen all year. If Heath Ledger doesn't get an Oscar, I will bust a nut.
All Time Worst Movies:
Something's Gotta Give - now this is what I call overrated. And ain't nobody wanna see Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson naked.
The Godfather Part III: Now in all fairness, this movie is, for the most part, watchable. But it definitely pales in comparison to the first two movies. First off, it's Michael trying to go straight and second of all, Sofia Coppola was more convincing as the baby getting baptized in the first Godfather movie. They're not kidding. She's terrible in this movie.
Uptown Girls - the best part: When Dakota Fanning asks Brittany Murphy, "Are you on crack?" A question I would want to ask the writers.
Ok, lets be honest here. Remakes really can go either way. Either they take a dump on the franchise or they revitalize it. There are some films out there that really need some kind of reboot. In these cases, like with last year's The Incredible Hu...
