Hmmm...What to say, what to say? Well, I'm an 18 year old movie lover and writer who's always looking for new and original movies with a dash of class, imagination and art....That is why I love Guillermo del Torro <3 That man, along with Peter Jackson, is God. They're both Gods, deities..Ah, you get the picture =P I also love psychological thrillers with a lot of depth - The Machinist is the best example.
Unless they are really well done, I hate parodies. Scary movie, Epic movie etc....That's all just crap, I hate that kind of stuff. I also adore musicals - Moulin Rouge and Phantom of the Opera are one of my fav movies

Ah, relaxation...
At least for today, I'm not going to school. Why? Let's just say I'm sick, but thank god (or whatever is up there, if there is something up there) for pain killers. Yup, just chilling, drinking tea and eating pancakes. Unfortunately, school work needs to be done too. *sigh*

Soon to be video...I hope
I'll be putting up the video of a play my drama group and I did. It's in German, but I'll be putting English subtitles on it. It's a pyschological thriller about a married couple who desperately want kids, but when it's established that the wife can't bear children, the husband makes a puppet to try and take the place of their child. Things start to go really bad from there.

What can I say about this film?...
This is for Spillers who like going out regularly like myself. From now on I will regularly organize nights out with other Spillers and we'll do a pub crawl, go bar hopping or go out clubbing. These are not Spill Parties. These are Spill Outs

see the orphanage. its style is heavily influenced by del toro, and it is one of the scariest, most intense, and beautiful films i've seen in years. it may be difficult to do, but try not to read anything about it, if you haven't already.
oh, and thanks for the info... i appreciate it very much.
but any thoughts from a local would be appreciated...
