Dr. Detfink said… - Yea, I really fear since it was hyped as "From Best selling..." and "the guy who gave you Fight Club" and Rooney Mara on the cover of every fashion magazine and being a remake...it's just a suspense thriller.
When I read the book & watched the original movie trilogy, I was content. I liked it especially since it seems like in America every female winner of the genetic lottery felt that they HAD to do an action movie on order to feel like a strong female character (blame Buffy). But this was the latest attempt not to screw things up as the studios had with Clarice Starling after Silence of the Lambs.
What were some of your favorite films from Butt-numb-a-thon?
