Hey - do you mind refreshing my memory? I saw 500 on Friday - what was the last line of the movie? (wasn't sure how to simply send you a private msg - if you'd rather that, understandable.) Thanks!
Akira and Ranma 1/2 are different. Different Genres, Different shows (TV compared to movie) and even different marketing (target) audience. Yet, it's "Okay" to enjoy Akira, but you get "Disapproval" for enjoying Ranma?
Why is that? Why can't someone enjoy what they want to enjoy without another group or people saying that this title is a "Must like"? That's the issue with a lot of people in general today. If you don't "Like this show" then the problem is YOUR fault, not the problems of the title. That's a sad thing to see happen, and a worse thing to experience yourself. I sort of miss the days when different shows were BOTH enjoyed just for being "different" from the mainstream outlets.
But sadly, those days are now over with, and I have to adapt...... but dammit I don't wanna adapt. lol
