Im trying to catch up with the episodes and would be the best thing if i could put em on my ipod. Once i have the dwnload helper add-on,what should i do?Could u assist me on this? My problem is the way he went about making his point, by making fun of Billy Ray's regional accent (as exaggerated as it was). The book (Repossession Mambo) and the screenplay were written at the same time (in conjunction with a screenwriter) around 2003, but the book didn't get picked up by a publisher until 2009. Just like with his previous book (Matchstick Men), the book was optioned as a movie before it got published. Universal liked the book so much, that they bought the rights to it in 2007 and went forward with making the movie before the book was even published. Garcia's written a few books in between, as well. It's kinda like how Fight Club wasn't Chuck Palahniuk's first novel (he actually wrote Invisible Monsters first, but couldn't get it published until Fight Club succeeded as a novel).

So basically, it was written in 2003, shopped around for years, Universal bought the movie rights and started making Repo Men in 2007, then a publisher bought the book rights in 2009 and published it. Hope that helps clear it up. :)
