G.I. Joe: Resolute - Review

What with the release of Rise of Cobra and it's subsequent taking a dump on another integral part of my childhood, I thought I'd take it upon myself to watch something that doesn't make my inner child cry out in anguish. Enter G.I. Joe: Resolute.

I know, I know. A lot of folks will say "But it's a summer action movie about a cartoon! It provides action! What more do you want?"

The 10 Greatest Cartoon Theme Songs [Part 2]

And we're back from commercial break.

"Now relax. This won't hurt at all. Unless something really very bad happens."

With all the talk about video games being turned into movies (and the generally awful results that follow) I've really been thinking about how a game could possibly make a descent movie. I came… Continue

Uwe Boll's new awful movie and the awful game that goes with it.

Uwe Boll's been a scourge to both movie-goers and gamers for quite some time now. He regularly puts mediocre game franchises through a process that, somehow, removes any redeeming qualities these properties may have had and transforms them into unwatchable movies. Now he's doing things backwards; he's making a new movie and THEN making a terrible game out of his OWN movie. I'd like to believe that somehow this is going to teach him a lesson and that, when this project fails on both fronts, he's… Continue
