I haven't seen Samurai 7 yet, but I've heard it's a pretty good remake.
Kurosawa himself was a fan of The Magnificent Seven, and it's been far too long since I last saw it for me to really comment on it, except that I thought it was enjoyable but (obviously) inferior to the original.
I can't say I have seen Sunshine, but given I've read quite a few of your post and fully agree, not to mention that your favorite movie list was stolen from me (seriously, get out of my head, it's really lonely in there), I'll give it a watch if you say so :) Cheers!
yea I do miss the wayans brothers, lol I am proud to say that I own both I'm Gonna Get You Sucka and Don't be a Menace, lol which I am very happy again to say. I'm sorry I thought Little Man was great, course I was EXTREMELY drunk when I went and saw it, lol.
LOL SEE NO EVIL WAS SUCH A PIECE OF SHIT, and yea Stomp the Yard as well, definitely Epic Movie and Date Movie, I'm impressed you remember Super Mario Bros, lol. Tropic Thundre was the shit, and Tenacious D, yea you've got great taste man, lol welcome to Spill.com
I am a lover of all things cinema. An ambitious young fellow trapped in white suburbia, I often turn to films for inspiration and entertainment.
Anyway, I love movies of all genres. I believe that the funniest comedies are always terrible horror movies (like The Happening), and that the scariest horror movies are always terrible comedies. I found myself cringing more at Meet the Spartans than I did SAW. Ironic, but true.
I love the Spill crew & community, and I'm really psyched to be a part of it. If you have any recommendations or questions for me, please comment!
