The second trailer for the Spill Party in Amsterdam

I know it's not perfect, I know there are some grammar mistakes in it ( I can't do anything about it now, since I lost all my WMM files). But it doesn't matter. What does matter is, that there is this group here on Spill: Amsterdam Experience - Spill No5 Party created by podbaydoor, where you can find all the information about the party. So go there, check it out, and spread the… Continue

Right now we're only looking back at some of our favorite games of 2011, but normally the feature will be used to look at new games the day they release. In the future, there's a much higher chance we'd look at DOTA 2 than League of Legends.

If you liked watching Jeff and Jason play Uncharted you might want to check out Giantbomb.com. They do the same thing... the only downside is that it isn't as laid back as those guys :(

Actually yes, I do mean cheesy and unconvencing, even the set where their little camp was looked fakish. About answers leading to questions, John Doe in Seven, the more I learned about him the more I wanted to know, but I still love the story really prefer not knowing, the same is true for (again Kevin Spacey) Verbal Kent and Kobayashi in Usual Suspects. We never find out what caused the sterility in Children of Men, what the ending of 2001 A Space Odessy was about (until the pragmatic and letdown sequal 2010) How does Doc Brown's time machine work, how does the one in The Time Machine work? Once you get into science fiction, magical, religious fable land or smart mystery the answers should just be kept to enough to tell the story. Who was the mother of the Wizard in the Wizard of Oz. How does the Cheshire Cat's disembodied head float and talk? Who knows and who cares, the're good stories that entertained, some made us think and that means they did their jobs

Just read your post on Losties Unite, I have to say I don't think any answers could be given without bringing up more questions, that's what happens when you have a mystery that spans 1000s of years and has both mystical and science fiction elements. Also I think the acting was a style choice to make it seem more fable/ story bookish.

Anyway that's my unsolicited 2 cents

ha, I appreciate that. I am usually so late and relatively embarrassed by them that I don't post them very many places. But I will try to do better!

Think that's one of the odd problems that I had with the Prequels with Star Wars. While ILM did a great job blowing my eyeballs out with all the CGI effects, there just seemed like something was missing.

Like new camera techniques and equipment. Where's the "model work"? What happened to the use of overlays for huge machines/humans? What about the robotics works?

Look, I agree that ILM will CONSTANTLY blow my mind with what they can put on a screen. I just fear that TOO MUCH is based on CGI effects and no longer trying to do Practical effects. Which is sad, because of all the ground breaking works that ILM has done with practical effects, they really should be concentrating on those.

Probably some of you have already read it or heard it on the latest LDT, but it’s just a reminder.

Start preparing, saving money and... be there! Because, seriously, what’s better than meeting Korey and fellow Spill members in Amsterdam?!

Hope to meet you all there,
