McFarlane starts writing Spawn 2

From an article on superherohype.com, McFarlane has started writing the script for spawn 2. According to the article it is neither a continuation or a recap of the previous film. The movie is to be a stand alone rated-R film.

Variety reports that a judge on Wednesday ruled that the family of superman's co-creator, Jerry Siegel, has "successfully recaptured" rights to additional works, including the first two weeks of the daily Superman newspaper comic-strips, as well as portions of early Action Comics and Superman comic-books.
