Well except for the obvious fact that it is a lava planet and it sits way way way too close to the sun. This is what scientists had to say.... "This is a major discovery in the field of trying to find life elsewhere in the universe". How is findin...
Say you met a girl who wasn't from around your area. You wanted to show her some of ur music taste but only wanted to pick 3 choices. What would you choose??
my lineup would be:
1. Sublime
2. Johnny cash
3. Bob Marley
I mean if you are in a good mood this type of song will make you overcome with joy, while if you are down, it seems to overwhelm you with sadness.
A perfect example of this for me is...
Wow this game looks good. fast forward to 4:00 if you want to just see the combat.
I hope they fix some of the minor issues of the first game. It appears that they have, and I am very excited for this game to be released.
I pray that you are not discouraged by false teaching on spill, youtube, or just the internet in general. I pray that you look into each thing brought forth and read the entire thing and the context in which it is used. Many peole will skew things...
Simple question here, but is not intented to be a religious debate. Is the theory of evolution based on evidence or faith?
Where do we have evidence that evolution is true? What do the fossil records have to say? Are there any intermediate fossil...
pretty self explanitory here. Who do you feel is the best guitarist ever? Feel free to list top 3 / or based on genre if you can't choose.
In my opinion the fastest/ smartest is John petrucci of dream theater
while my favorite is still jimmy ...
they played part of the freakin decline live! those assholes in that crowd! lol
Then for those that don't understand this is the song in good quality...
like the article says their is a big difference between being well enough to watch a football game, and being well enough to train for a UFC fight... I don't think he's ducking Carwin its just not his style.
good advice man... Yeah i'll stay positive its all I really know how to do...its much better to laugh than cry... I just need to keep my mind on why I came out here to make my grandpa as comfortable as possible in his last days. ill hit you up when Im back in Long Beach. we shall blaze thick
Damn dude taking care of my grandpa is the hardest thing i've ever had to do...
the physical aspects aren't really that demanding, but I had no idea how much it would effect me emotionally... My grandpa has always been a really proud man just like all the men in my family, and to see him this feeble is really hard. he is deteriorating at a really fast rate... If you can say a prayer for him it would be appreciated...
I just needed someone to vent to cuz all my grandma does is cry when we talk about him.
dude I have written over 600 words in response to your questions, I have tried to explain my stand point and have also tried to bring up a few other ideas that might relate to this topic,I have heard this argument before, and am still not convinced that your god is the one responsibly. I would agree that our universe probably had a begin, I said that, and just because we disagree doesn't mean I am dodging the hard questions.
no dude I get it, I was brought up a christian, I understand the concept that god exists out side of the reality that we perceive, I just don't believe it.
firstly I use space as not space as in stars but as in a an area for thing to exist in, and in that sense what is out side of our reality and universe is still space if it is being expanded into, a void of nothingness that can be expanded into is still space as I meant it, even if there is nothing there.
secondly yes it is, when a match burns the energy released is still there after it has stopped burning it has just dispersed, much like when you die your body decomposes and what made up your body is still there just in a different state all divided up into energy of a sort. in that sense both physical and philosophically time is meaningless.
this leads us nicely into what I believe.... at a push I like to believe that we are all part of the universe in some sense or another, all living things have to absorb and dispel energy, we all degrade but it is less that we degrade but more that we just dispel our own energy back into the universe as a whole, you know the whole cycle of life shit.
I am an agnostic atheist, I admit I don't know, who truly can, but if there is a 'god' or something, I don't think he is the christian god or any earthly god, but just existence itself, maybe thats what the big bang was 'god' coming into being.
but that being said I am not a spiritual person, I believe that this is the only life we get so we should live it the best we can, have fun, do what you think is right, and try to lead a life that if you die you can hopefully have no major regrets.
but addressing your first question last, I did pay attention, your belief in 'God' is that he has always been, timeless, maybe even existence itself, I was just saying that to say that everything has to have a begin and a creator except god is a hard line of logic to follow. It takes a massive amount of faith to except that as an exception to a rule.
firstly what about the space the universe is expanding into, what created that, what started that, by your own logic god is not god but the creation of some higher power and so on and so on, you cannot say that everything has a begin except one thing it doesn't make logical sense
secondly time is a human construction
thirdly I did not say i believe it, i am just not against it, much like the multiple universes idea.
lastly you said that the universe could not have existed for eternity, how could god have always existed "All that begins to exist had a cause" if time is as you say linear then god must have had a begin.
Crazy. This is all I have to say about 2012. Crazy Awesome!!! I will say this and mean it this time, 2012 is better than Transformers 2. Their I said it. Are you happy that I said that? Well, not only is this a lot better that Transformers 2 (wh...
