What did you think of the Evil Dead? I thought the cold turky cabin plot worked. The father daughter scene at the start of the film gave us too much too soon. It took the buildup and impact away from Deadites when they started possessing the characters. There were also scenes when an actor was so bad at delivering a line that i wondered why they didn't just reshoot it. The actors were okay for the most part, but none of them made you care or like them. As bad as the acting was in the original (ED1, we all love the acting in 2) you still liked or found them entertaining. The practical effects are some of the best we've seen in awhile though.
