And yeah, I think "Janek" phonetically is kinda like this: "Yunehk", and Janek is Polish for John. Here! I educated you a little, ya stalker!
Except being stalked by non-existing fans I like cop and gangster dramas (and TV shows: The Shield, The Wire, The Sopranos) - I always appreciate a good crime movie. Although I don't stick to one genre. I have same rule for film, comics, music - I don't care what genre it is as long as it's good. Not much of a horror fan, though, but as you can see on my "All time favorite movies" list there are one or two that I like. :)
Also, I was born on Friday the 13th, but I'm not killing teenagers in my spare time.

I was going to write a review of a Polish film "Psy" (or "Pigs" as the US title says), but right now I don't really have time for this. A while ago I made a trailer for this movie, because there was none. "Vengeance" (2009)
I just discovered this trailer for a Hong-Kong/French revenge movie called “Vengeance”. It looks dark and gritty and I love it. It's supposed to come out 20th May in France. Don’t know about the rest of the world, but I think (and hope) it's not going to be much later than the end of fall.
Plot is simple:
A father comes to Hong Kong to avenge his daughter, whose family was murdered. Officially, he's a chef. Twenty years ago, he was a killer.

He was born in Warsaw in 1976, when Poland was still communist. His parents escaped and fled to Sweden before coming to America. It's actually a really great story, but I'd butcher it trying to tell it, so I won't.
I know, I don't know why I always do that. I suspect I just like saying "Czechoslovakia". Also "Romany", That's one of my faves.
