What are you doing NOW to move toward what you want?
One of the worst things to do if you want to become a director, actor or screenwriter (or anything really) is to talk about how much you want to do it. Because the more you're talking, the less you're doing. If you really want it, you should be doing something. Now. Yes, I know, we're all lazy. It sucks to actually do something, but you have to.
