This is a non-spoiler review of the first Luther Strode series.
First going into the Luther Strode, you may think it's Kick-ass with Superpowers, but if you look at just beneath the surface it's actually a variation of a Slasher flick disguised as Superhero origin. That is actually…

.....*sigh* They actually fucked up Ant-man....
Be warned this is a spoiler laden summary/review!
Ant-man Season one is written by Tom Defalco(Spider-girl), to I have to say i'm very disappointed with, mainly due to the strange liberties they took.
Doctor Henry "Hank" Pym starts off the comic witnessing the death of Maria Pym, his first wife, during a terrorist bombing. While this is a nice twist on Hank's origin of being a widower, it quickly goes off the rails when…

So I've finally gotten around to reading some of Marvel Season one and I got to say, it's an interesting update of the origins. I was privileged enough to read both of the Team books: FF and X-men. I'm also now reading the first of the second wave Ant-man. The art in both the team books is very well done for a graphic novel, nothing mind blowing alex ross level but nothing horrid Rob Liefeld level(though from the first few pages of Ant-man, I'm cautious as it appears to look very cartoon…

Calm down bitch.
But to disagree to a disagree isn't an agree.... disagree while agreeing... who agrees while.... disa... agr.... ERROR! ERROR! CAN'T PROCESS! SHUTDOWN SEQUENCE INITIATED!
Alright then I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.
Just because he hasn't done anything with the JLA themselves doesn't mean he can't do it. We know Vaughan is a big DC fan so I have no doubts he knows all of these characters very well and can write them respectively within whatever new incarnation they are being set upon.
I hate to use this point but look at Whedon. He hasn't written a run on The Avengers (to my knowledge) and he was able to flesh those characters out well enough for people who hadn't even seen the previous Phase I movies while at the same time bringing his charming wit to the team.
We already know Vaughan can write a good team dynamic with The Runaways, and almost all of his characters are really well fleshed out. I think he just needs a shot at it.
It's good to hear they made an entertaining film that's not just cashing in on an easy demographic.
I saw your last comment in the latest...
This is what the sucsess of films like twilight gets us.
Hey dude, long time no chat, what's up?
Well, my mother caught me making my utility belt....and my dad didn't know I was dressing up as Batman until he saw me..... :3
I meant the fact that comic book Joker was beside Jack Nicholson's Jack. I know Joker never has a proper name.
