It's a political opportunity for the tea baggers (really, they're sticking with that name?) to shout which is what they like to do. I'm not even mildly surprised or plussed by their reaction but what did surprise me was Marvel kowtowing to their whining. The history of Marvel has been one of a traditionally progressive company as far as dealing with social issues, unafraid to court controversy. This is just typical of the new era of Joe/Disney.
