Tron Legacy review

Tron Legacy is just one of those movies, one of those movies that we see maybe once or twice a year, twice in '10 thanks to Inception, that fits right in with the big bugdet Summerfests like Transformers but…

What's happening to my favorite movie directors?

Now I'm going to talk about two of my favorite movie directors of all time, Quentin Tarantino and Guillermo del Toro, I'll first talk about Tarantino

Quentin Taratino

He's a huge movie geek, like a lot of us here in this website, His first feature film "Resevoir Dogs" was excellent, the cast was excellent, the story didn't drag, and the writing was outstanding, than, two years after it, he came up with "Pulp Fiction", now in my opinion, Pulp Fiction is Resevoir Dogs but 10… Continue

2008, A Good or Bad year for movies?

I think it's imposible to determine whether a certain year was bad or good for movies because every year we get a handful of great movies, but 2008 was the year of the comic book films, in 2008 We got Ironman, The Incredible Hulk, The Dark Knight, Hellboy II The Golden Army and Punisher War Zone, We've had one of the greatest animated movies of all time WALL E and one of the greatest Dreamworks animation movies of all time, Kung Fu Panda, but we've also got some animated movies that werent so… Continue

Hi, Hero!

Wow, it's been a while since you've listened, hasn't it? Glad you're back! :D

Well, Carlyle had been focusing on other projects for a while, and he'd had less and less time to devote to Spill, so he officially "retired" at SpillDotCon. I believe he's still writing for "Ain't it Cool News," so I'm pretty sure you can still follow him over there.

John Rubio is a kick-ass illustrator and graphic designer, and he joined the LEOG almost a year ago. He's an awesome addition to the podcast, because he keeps us all on our toes, and forces us to up our game!

As for Kristin never being on the podcast anymore... well, sometimes people just move on. The LEOG has undergone a few changes in the last year; some members left, and others (like Rubio, and our newest member, Brian Salisbury, who officially joined us this week) have come on board.

There have definitely been a lot of changes at Spill, but they've all been for the best, I think. People need to be free to move on and do other projects that they're more passionate about, and adding new perspectives and new voices keep things fresh. Personally, I think the LEOG has gotten a lot better, a lot funnier, and much more professional as a result. The changes were a bit difficult for all of us, at first, but change always is. We still see each other at social gatherings, and sometimes people come back to do guest spots.

You should also check out The TV Dudes, over at www.loungegeeks.com, where Grant, Randy, and Greg do a video podcast on TV stuff (and they do HILARIOUS video intros!), and Loose Canon Comics with Beau, Randy, and Jason is over at Lounge Geeks, too.

I hope that, despite all the changes, you'll still enjoy everything that Spill has to offer!

Haha... you're funny.

Your thought process kind of reminds me of my husband. He... although the same age as me, is childlike mentally. Which I find cute and at times annoying. (I enjoy teaching others... as long as they want to put their knowledge into actions) Anyways, he is deep down well okay not FULLY deep down.. haven't figured that part yet. But he is an extremely nice guy... lacks assertiveness. Which causes him to look TOO NICE, and sort of like a pussy... (although everyone accepts him.....kind of strange. not that its a bad thing...just well nvm,)
He hates looking like a pussy though, so he will be all manly at odd times which is cute/funny to me.

(As i keep typing this i am wondering why i am telling you this...weird)

Anyways, whatever it is that helped you to learn "you can never please everyone" ... I would like to share this with him. Yes, loving yourself does wonders... It's odd how some people don't know how to.
