On top of all of that, if Puxsatawney Phil (sp?) doesn't see his shadow tomorrow, that's gonna fluck up my next si

“He calls himself The Joker. A man once as ordinary as any other criminal I bring down. He has white skin on his face. His hair is an eerie green color. His smile is unforgettable. Scars run up the side of his face from each end of his mouth forming a hideous grin which is red. His laugh is bone chilling. His mind is twisted beyond reality.
He leaves his victims with Chelsea smiles, forming a permanent smile on their faces by cutting them with a knife. He also leaves behind his trademark symbol, a playing card with a joker on it. For months now Harvey, Gordon and I have been trying to find him. His henchman won’t talk to any of us. No matter what threats Dent throws at them with what they will face in court they still stay silent. Loyal bastards if you ask me. Dent’s re-election campaign is going on tonight and Bruce Wayne is fashionably late for his good friend’s party.”
At the Gothom City hotel located in the heart of the city near Wayne Towers, Friends of Harvey Dent’s have put together a party for him for his re-election coming up in the fall. Attending the party are all well known people in Gothom such as the Mayor, Lieutenant Gordon, Rachel Dawes, Gilda Dent, board members from Wayne enterprises, Luscious Foxx and Bruce Wayne who has not yet arrived.
“Mr. Dent do you feel you will be re-elected in the fall now that you have put Dr. Jonothan Crane also known as the Scarecrow in Arkham?” Dent turns around to see a woman who is married to a board member. He begins to chuckle a little at the question.
“Undoubtedly Ma’am, however it is humorously ironic to me that I put Crane away in the same place he once worked at and put away people like himself. I have my assistant Ms. Dawes here to thank for that” replied Harvey. Rachel was standing next to him and began to speak to the woman and to Harvey.
“It wasn’t all just me Harvey. You know for a fact that you had much help from Batman. After all you have told me that you, he and Gordon are in works to bring down this man that calls himself The Joker after the incident he pulled at the bank. Not to mention the young woman, Jackie Franklin we found dead in the river “said Rachel. The board member’s wife was in complete shock.
“What happened to her that made her so important” she asked. Ms. Dawes looked at Harvey who took a deep breathe.
“Ms. Franklin was the woman who was taken hostage by The Joker at the bank and used her to escape. About a week later she was found in the river with a gun shot wound to her left temple and had a smile cut into her face” said Harvey.
The woman was in complete horror to learn of this and ran to the bathroom. Rachel was upset and looked at him.
“Must you be so graphic Harvey?” He laughed for a second and replied to her as he walked away to speak to Gordon.
“Why should we hide what is really going on in our streets Ms. Dawes”
Gordon was drinking some champagne with his wife talking to a group of people when Harvey walked up to him.
“James it looks like your enjoying yourself for once” said Harvey. James laughed and replied to him.
“It’s not like you and I can do this kind of thing every night with The Joker running about in our streets.” The two of them excused themselves from the group and began to walk around through the party. They could see everyone laughing, drinking, eating and enjoying themselves.
“Look at all of them James. It’s as though they don’t know what’s really going on in the city” said Harvey.
“Well to tell you the truth most of them don’t Harvey. It’s better if we kept it that way so we don’t get a mass panic on our hands to deal with on top of things.”
Dent continued to survey the room upset that the citizens don’t understand what he really is doing for them day and night. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a double sided coin and began to flip it.
“What’s that you got there? A double sided coin eh?” asked James. Harvey flipped it one last time and held it out so James could see it.
“Yeah Bruce gave it to me a few weeks ago. He knew I collected coins so he gave me this one. Say, have you seen him around tonight?” asked Harvey.
The two of them looked around the room and did not see him. Rachel was speaking to guests at the party. Gilda Dent was speaking to James’s wife. Luscious Foxx was speaking to a few of the board members and then the doors opened and Bruce Wayne entered. He walked through the party and began to speak with Rachel about some things.
“Rachel I’m sorry I’m late I was…” Bruce was interrupted by the sound of the doors being kicked in. Everyone was startled by this and saw a dozen men enter the room wearing clown masks followed by The Joker himself. Bruce looked at Rachel for a second and she knew what he was thinking so she nodded to him. Bruce snuck out of the party room by means of a window in the back.
The Joker was wearing a purple suit and a green undershirt. His men were armed with weapons just like at the bank heist. He made his way through the crowd of guests as his men pushed them back and silenced them. He walked up to a poster add for Harvey Dent with his picture on it with a caption. The Joker read this out loud. “I believe in Harvey Dent.” The people in the room just looked at him in fear. He turned around and looked at the crowd. “I believe in Harvey Dent too. I believe we should support this great man. What do you think sir?” he said as he pointed at a man in the crowd.
“Y-y-y-yes I think we should.” The Joker pulled out his gun and shot the man in the chest. The man hit the floor dead as the room began to scream in fear. The Joker’s goons shut them up by firing their guns in the air.
“Wrong answer my friend…wrong answer. Now is Mr. Dent present in the room or not?” called out The Joker. James looked at Dent and showed him his gun and told him to go to him. “I’m here” Called out Harvey as he pushed through the crowd to get to him. “Ah the man of the hour himself who wishes to see me locked away. Why don’t you say all of these nasty things to my face old chap?” said the Joker as he began to smile.
Dent walked up to him and stared him in the face. “Not everyone is afraid of you clown. You’re a pathetic waste of life and I’ll see you hanged for what you’ve done” Said Harvey. The smile on The Joker’s face grew even bigger. He backhanded Dent in the face and turned to the crowd. “Will Mrs. Dent please step forward so I may get my point across to old Harvey here just who he is dealing with?”
Harvey screamed out loud and swung at The Joker and hit him in the face and tackled him into the refreshments table. The Joker quickly out maneuvered Dent and got back up to his feat and hit Dent a few times and through him into the crowd.
“Your good Dent but, your no Batman” Said the Joker. He holstered his gun and made his way into the crowd of frightened people. He walked through looking at each person until he came across Rachel.
“Rachel Dawes, the DA’s assistant. I’ve seen you in Arkham before haven’t I?” asked the Joker. She spit in his face and looked at him with an angry look. He whipped away the spit and pulled out a knife in his right hand while with his left hand he grabbed her by her throat. “That wasn’t very lawful like of you let alone very wise. I’m well aware you and Harvey aren’t afraid of me. Once you two are dead and smiling, no one will come anywhere near me.”
She stared at him and his smile. “Batman will stop you freak!” she struggled to reply.
He just smiled and held the knife up to her left eye and brought it down to her upper left cheek. “You will be quite entertaining while it lasts to kill. I’m going to cut you from here to here so you don’t look angry towards me anymore. Then I will have my way with Mrs. Dent and finally it’s Harvey’s turn to pay for trying to bring me down.” He said.
Rachel looked into his eyes, the eyes of a madman lost in insanity. “You’re completely insane! You randomly kill people for fun like it’s a sick game. No one else will die because Batman is coming!” she choked out. He raised the knife to her throat when a window is heard in the room being shattered. Everyone whipped their heads to the back of the room to see the Dark Knight standing there. The Joker pushes Rachel to the floor and smiles at Batman. “I was beginning to think you forgot about your own handy work” Said the Joker. Batman looked around the room and saw Harvey with a bloody nose and lip, Gordon waiting to make a move, Rachel on the floor shaken by what has happened, a dozen armed goons and a room full of terrified people. “Let them go and I won’t think about killing you here” said Batman. The goons raised their guns and aimed them at him as The Joker sheaved his knife and drew out his gun. “I only wanted to show how much I support Harvey Dent. What’s the big deal? It’s not like I’ve done anything bad now have I?” said The Joker still grinning. Batman lunged forward as he threw smoke bombs at the henchman, blinding them to what was going on in the smoke. Batman tackled The Joker to the ground. The two began to fight as Gordon fired at the henchman wounding several in the process as he made his way to his wife and evacuated people out of the room. The Joker and Batman got back up to their feet and started to fight. “You don’t really think you can win do you? I’m The Joker, the clown prince of crime!” he yelled out as he punched Batman and wailed on him some more. “I know you can’t win! I’m Batman!” he yelled and gave The Joker a solid hit to the face and sent him rolling on the floor. Rachel was trying to find her way through the smoke when she is grabbed by a familiar grip. Batman waited for the smoke to clear and sees that The Joker has Rachel again with his gun to her head. “As I was saying Batsy, I’m The Joker and it looks like I win. You’re as pathetic as Dent is.” He said as he backed his way out of the room with Rachel.
Batman slowly moved forward. “Your insane clown now let her go! This is between me and you!” he yelled out. “That’s just hilarious coming from the same man who created himself to run around in a cape and mask. The same man who created me! As I said before, don’t follow me.” Said The Joker still backing up to the doors. Two goons ran back into the room, one aiming at Gordon and another at Batman. He smiled at the Bat as all of them backed out of the doors. “Last time we did that you killed Ms. Franklin!” shouted Harvey as he got up to his feet. “I never said I’d let her live” said The Joker.
The Joker looked at Batman, Gordon and Dent as his men were heard shooting at people.
“Starting tonight people will die!” He put his mouth next to Rachel’s ear. “I’m a man of my word. HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!”
The Joker made his way out of the room and hit Rachel in the face, putting her unconscious. The madman ran into the streets of Gothom, firing his gun and killing innocent people in the streets. Batman ran after him and made it outside to see eight dead bodies on the ground and his purple Rolls Royce driving off. Batman ran after the car and used his grapple gun to swing himself on top of the car. There were several other cars driving and had his men in them. The Joker was alone in the car he was driving. Shots were being fired at him as several police cruisers pulled up behind them and ran one of the goons’ cars off the road. The goons turned their attention to the police, letting Batman get back to stopping The Joker. The Joker began to fire his gun at the ceiling sending bullets at Batman as he swerved through traffic. Batman flipped around and sent himself crashing through the front window of the car. The Joker purposely crashed his car into a fire hydrant slamming the car to a stop. Batman was ejected from the car and onto the sidewalk. The Joker fell out of his car as he opened the door. Batman seemed to be ok and got up. The Joker stood up and raised his pistol but was too late as Batman drop kicked him back to the ground, sending his gun out of his hands. The Joker got up quickly and drew out his knife and charged into Batman. The madman stabbed the Dark Knight but his armor was too tough and broke the blade. Batman grabbed him by his neck and slammed him into the car and hit him so hard that it sent The Joker into the side of the car and bounced him off and back into another punch from Batman. The Joker was now unconscious and was captured by the Dark Knight. The police were foiled by the Joker’s goons and they escaped.
The Joker was now locked away in Arkham Asylum along with the Scarecrow. The Joker awaits his trail and is to be prosecuted by Harvey Dent. The Joker sits in his padded cell in a straight jacket. He sits there with the same hideous smile he always has.
The door to his cell opens up and a gorgeous blonde haired, blue eyed woman steps into his cell. “My name is Dr. Harleen Quinzel. I have been assigned to you because I have followed up on your doings over the past few months. I’m going to ask you a few questions that I would like to know if I am going to be your doctor.” She said as she stared at him holding a clip board and pen. He looked up at her and smiled. “Please call me Mr. J” he said. She had a smile grow on her face too. “May I ask why you do what it is you do…Mr. J” she asked still smiling. He stood up and leaned back into the padded wall. “I do what I do because I the world has the same blank face, no smiles. I do what I do because quite simply Dr Quinzel I can and its fun HaHaHa.” He answered.
For hours the two of them talk to each other until The Joker realizes something.
“Dr. Quinzel why don’t you tell me why your really here.” She looked at him for a few seconds. “I don’t understand what you mean.” She said. He smiled at her still leaned against the wall. “Oh I think you know what I mean. I can see it in your blue eyes of yours. It’s written all over your body.” She took a deep breath. “Fine I’ll tell you why I’m here. I became obsessed with what you do ever since you robbed the bank. The way you act, the way you talk, the way you look I’ve been obsessed with it all. Quite so I want you Mr. J” she said nervously. He walked over to her and whispered in her ear “Then get me out of here.” He said with a smile. She looked at him and smiled just as he did…
“He calls himself The Joker.
He is now locked away in Arkham Asylum awaiting his fate at the hands of my friend Harvey Dent. Unlike Jonothan Crane, the man who calls himself the Scarecrow, I don’t think the Joker will get off as easy after the stunt he pulled at Harvey’s re-election party. The madman is off the streets and we can finally rest easy. I now put all my hopes, my trust and my faith in my friend. We all here in Gothom do. I believe in Harvey Dent”
