I'm in college right now taking communication arts at Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA. I'm taking film classes and I've learned a lot more about movies and have seen a lot of movies during my time here. I don't know where I want to go with this class but I have a feeling I may end up either in the movie business or in radio.
CO-HOST 3000. I FUCKING LOVE THAT JAPANESE MEXICAN ROBOT.
I also support Billy. Even thought he's suffering from some extreme self-entitlement and is a misogynistic asshole...I can respect that he really stands by what he says and won't apologize for it. You either like him or you don't. Also his voices make me laugh my ass off.
Another thing...Well there really isn't another thing. I LOVE Kung-fu movies. I grew up on them as a kid so sitting down at night with some take out and some Shaw brothers production Kung-fu movie is like the perfect night for me.
So I've grown up from the time I joined the site. 25 years old and I'm ready to take on the world. Come join me.
I have a 360 and my gamertag is hotrockcandy. ADD ME!!! I also have a steam account. If you want my name and let me know!
That's it so far!
All Time Favorite Movies:
Oh favorites list...you're about to be topped by some new movies!
DISTRICT FUCKING 9. Could this movie be any more bad ass? Two words. ALIEN MECHA.
Avatar - I'm only putting it up here because even though I hated the whole cliche evil corporation and military versus the poor indigenous people of Pandora...I thought the movie was visually beautiful.
The Phantom of the Opera
Blade 1 and 2
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
The 5th Element
Lord of the Rings (I'm talking the whole fucking trilogy)
Legend of Drunken Master
All the Batman movies except for that horrendous one that I refuse to name here
Snake in eagle's shadow
5 Deadly Venoms
Pirates of the Caribbean
Black Hawk Down
Oh Brother Where Art Thou? (It's a personal favorite that I share with my father!)
Ghost in the Shell
Final Fantasy - Advent Children
The Thomas Crown Affair (Could Faye Dunaway be any more beautiful in this movie? And don't get me started on that hunk Steve McQueen!)
American History X
Snakes on a Plane (I went to the movies to see this and OMG I had sooo much fun with this movie!)
Ghostbusters 1 and 2
X-Men 1 and 2
The Incredible Hulk
Evil Dead 1 and 2
Army of Darkness (I even got an army of darkness tee shirt!)
Any movie with a zombie in it
Friday the 13th
Halloween (Except for the third one. What the FUCK was that?)
Nightmare on Elm St.
Scary Movie 1 and 2
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Star Wars! (Mmm Ewan McGregor...)
V for Vendetta
The Matrix 1 and Reloaded (Only for the 30 minute car chase scene which was soooo bad ass!)
The Three Amigos
Last but not least...everyone is going to hate me for this...but my guilty pleasure and guilty favorite movie is The Power Rangers movie. I remember seeing it as a kid and in fact I still watch the Power Rangers.
Please don't shun me for that!
All Time Worst Movies:
House of the Dead
Son of the Mask
Any stupid movie that has the word movie at the end of the name other than Scary movie 1 and 2 which were genius!
Star Wars: Episode 2. (That movie was DOO DOO!)
Jason X (I love Jason Voorhees. This movie? Not so much.)
Ecks Vs. Sever (Lucy Lui's fine ass couldn't even save this movie.)
Max Payne (Doesn't even COMPARE to the genius of the actual game.)
Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Meet the Spartans (I was FORCED to go see this mind you. It was for my younger brother's birthday. In a movie theater. I literally ate nachos and fiddled with my ipod the whole time.)
Shrek the third...
Mimic (I hate roaches! The fact that there were giant roaches in this movie scared me so much that I refuse to watch it.)
Cheaper by the dozen (Really? What the hell are you doing Steve Martin?!)
It seems as if I have more favorite movies than worst! The list will build as I watch more movies.
Favorite Actors or Actresses:
Robert Downey, Jr.
Heath Ledger -- I was a fan before The Dark Knight
Samuel L. Jackson
I can't think of any more!
Guillermo Del Toro baby!
