- The Dark Knight, Memento, The Prestige, State of Play (2009), Batman Begins, The Departed, Good Fellas, Psycho, Citizen Kane, Apocalypse Now (1979).

- Batman and Robin (1997)
pretty much any film that a studio rehashes or makes a non wanted/ uninteresting sequel to it in order to make a profit. also on my type of movies i consider bad are ones that mock, intentionally or unintentionally, a personal icon (person, place or thing i look up to and admire)
other then that i like most movies :)
Ex: Indiana Jones series.

My Guide to Understanding Film 101
Welcome to my first blog post.
these series of blogs are about the technical aspect of films and trying to be a more active, then passive viewer.
the first topic is about the different types of camera shots and angles.
to start off I will list the 3 basic camera shots:
1. Close-up Shot
2. Medium Shot
3. Long range/Wide Shot
there are subsections of each shot type (these are the "umbrella terms, if you will).
some examples of more specific shots are:
