The Lovecraft movie should be awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing what Ron Howard does with it. There are so few good Lovecraft movies, but such rich source material. I really enjoyed what I read of the miniseries, as well.

That's the most retarded thing I've ever seen.

Ever.

Whoever made that isn't much of a Dr Who fan. I mean, the ol' Doc is many things but he DECIDEDLY isn't a street brawler. Or much of a hand to hand fighter at all.
I guess it's easier to make a cartoon where violence always solves things than one where people use their brains to figure out a solution (as in the actual show). I'm really hoping no one is serious about doing this.
