- I'm 23 yr old graphic artist. Love sculpting, drawing, watching movies (no shit), jamming to music, playing video games (360 mostly) and reading, drinking that sweet sweet booze, and puffin that sweet sweet reefer.
So why am I El Blu Rey? (rey= king in spanish, gringos) Well, last year I purchased a 46" Sony LCD that came with a Blu-Ray player. I already owned a dope Onkyo surround sound system and when I plugged it all in, I realized I didnt have a Blu-Ray movie! I ran to the blockbuster down the street and Bought a used copy of Tropic Thunder and Pineapple Express to try it out.when it started up I was blown away and from that day I was sold on Blu-Rays! The picture clarity and the sound quality had me shitting my pants. Even OLD movies look incredible, and vowed never to buy another DVD (of which I had over 300).
And with that, a new collection had been formed, and I have been faithfully buying Blu-Rays every chance I got. So far I have 160, and I add a new one or two every week or so. Maybe this number isn't high enough to be a self-proclaimed "king", but is was a play on words too good to pass.
