Problem is, without them, there is no show. Only a few members have even watched it. Oh well.

hi, First of all, I think up is truly great and is the greatest film of this very year, but when I talk about the mixture of british and american culture, I'm talking about how the animals are american and the human are british, I can see the problem people have, and the film did pull out the anarcy and animal crulty element out, but I thought that it works as we don't know how animals could speak so they could very well mix them up.

Yeah, that's the funny part about Martha on Doctor Who.

In the UK, it was no big deal at all, and no one seemed to care one way or another about her color. They were just upset that Rose was gone from the show.

In the US, sadly, it was a point of interest to point out and make an "issue" of.

Not saying that it was a right thing to do in the US, but it's what some of the "fan sites" were going on about. They thought that the whole Racial-issue was something to note (and it was for show's history) as some sort of "Wonder" to keep an eye on. I think that Martha's popularity in the US took a hit because of people wanting to make a Racial-issue of it, and see pass the skin color and look at the characters as they were. Thankfully, I think her character was strong enough to overcome all the "negative aspects" people assigned to her without watching the show at all.

Oh yes, I hold UNKLE's first album in extremely high regard. I'd even go so far as to say that I package it and "Endtroducing" together in my head as one double record. Fantastic. And I dig Rob D as well.

I enjoyed it too. I actually think you're in a better spot if you haven't read the book. I think the movie ending works sooooo much better. When you see the US and USSR presidents shake hands and understand what's going on. Your like WTF? Great twist I thought.

Hey,

So as you know, the next London spill party’s coming up. Korey’s planning to make a video announcing it on the site but first we need to settle on where/ what we’re doing. Nick’s looked up two places we could go to, The Lonsdale Bar in Notting Hill (http://www.urbanpath.com/london/cocktail-bars/lonsdale-bar.htm) and the arches at London bridge (http://www.the-arches.com/listings.htm) . as you can see, these places have totally different atmospheres but there’s also the option that we start off at Lonsdale bar and then move onto the arches later.

We’re just trying to get a vibe of what people are feeling. If you could get back to either nick or me with what you want to do, that would be awesome!
