A Nightmare on Elm Street Review

A Nightmare on Elm StreetA re-imagining of the horror icon Freddy Krueger, a serial-killer who wields a glove with four blades embedded in the fingers and kills people in their dreams, resulting in their real death in reality. What Worked: Barely anything. When it comes down to it, the best things about this movie were the kills. And anytime Freddy was actually on screen, which was a lot. But there were some parts of it that were scary, but mostly predictable scary. And some of the acting is…See More

Shutter Island Review

Shutter IslandSet in 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island. What I Liked: The movie is a bit over two hours long and I wasn’t bored once. No slow moments which is perfect. I now completely forgive Scorsese for The Departed even though I’m probably the only person on the planet that didn’t love it. The performances are spot on, and music only…See More

Movie Reviews 2/12 - Percy, Wolfman, Percy

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning ThiefA teenager discovers he's the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an adventure to settle an on-going battle between the gods. What I Liked: There are, for obvious reasons, many comparisons to Harry Potter when talking about this movie, and I get that. But this is no Harry Potter. And I mean that in a good/bad way. Idon't want to see another Harry Potter. I love those movies. This hadto be different. This couldn't be another Eragon.…See More

Super Early ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ Review?!

Ok, I found this "review" on another movie site. I dont know if it's real or not but it sounds pretty accurate. So here's the review and judge for yourself.

OK, so I’m not a movie reviewer, so forgive me if this is not as concise as a professional review might be. Having said that, I also don’t know how much of the plot and “ohhhh, holy shit!!!” moments you want to know, possibly spoiling it. But feel free to edit and take out… Continue

Summer Movies - 2009 - What Do You Think?

Every summer usually has a specific type of movie list. In 2007 it was the Summer of the Sequels (Pirates 3, Bourne 3, and .....*sigh*...Spider-Man 3). In 2008 it was the Summer of Comic Book Movies (Iron Man, Hulk, Dark Knight). This year seems seems to have a variety of those previous models. Here's a list of this summers most anticipated films:

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Prequel/Comic Book)

Star Trek (Reboot)

Angels and Demons… Continue

Yeah. Although I think that Statham should eventually get some sort of role in a superhero movie, Daredevil isn't it.

I love it and have deleted your comment. Mentioning that could ruin the experience for others who might begin thinking about that angle of the film. Needless to say I dig the everloving shit out of it, hence the review of it a year and a half later. And shame on you for pirating such a good film. Repent, and take friends to see it this weekend.

I don't know. Something serious. Horror, crime drama, science fiction. No comedies, I'm not really comedic. I just finished a script about a serial killer who kills other serial killers.

Since I'm a script writer, do you think you can give me any ideas on what to write. I just finished one and now I don't know what to write next.
