In all honesty, no I'm not trolling at all. I personally dislike Seinfeld's comedy "style". I never really found him funny as other comedians like Tim Allen (Home Improvement), or Louie Anderson (Stand-up routines). I'm not at all saying that he wasn't "humorous", just that there were funnier and more personable comedians at the same time doing much better and consistent stand-up comedy that never got anything like the reception of Seinfeld.

As far as the "Seinfeld" show? Well, I found it completely asinine, un-funny, and quite often annoying. Mostly because the supporting characters all seemed to be the type of people that would actually be more HARMFUL to someone's career than helpful. Plus the fact that they almost always came across as nothing more than simply narcissistic and possibly psychotic characters. It never really connected with me, and because of that fact, I never understood how or why it seems to resonate with so many others.

Did I just not "get it"? I will admit that is possible. Does that still explain how he was able to be someone with "influence" in Hollywood? Not at all.
