We finally are starting to work 4 days a week....a definate improvement, but at a high cost. They just laid off 7 MORE people, so we are at the bare bones in man power. Since the work share program and unemployment checks have stopped, the owner made this decision without any real heads up to the employees. Only last week, he was giving us a dog and pony show about how valuable we all were and we have'nt lost any customers, only fewer orders. They did'nt even let the laid off workers stay until the end of the day....just the plant manager saying their names over the intercom, hers's your check, and we will call you when it gets busy again. PLEASE. W@hat a way to handle the situation! Thank god my wife has a good paying job, though i hate for her to take up the financial burden in the family. I really have noi choice, and going back to school for a better job opportunity is going to take quite awhile. Ho well....

Well, anything is better for me than wasting away in a factory as a blue collar worker. I'm kicking myself for dropping out of collage the first time. Over twenty years later and now i'm older and classes cost more...silly, silly man!

Nothing too exciting on this end. With the economy the way it is, i've only been working 3 days a week and i end up with a LONG 4 day weekend. I'm starting school Thursday night, so it's back in the saddle on trying to get my degree and maybe doing something with myself! I'm majoring in History and going for a minor in Education to try to become a teacher....long road to travel.

Why didn't I like Superbad? The plot was empty, the jokes weren't funny, the few that were somewhat amusing were used too much (McLovin for example) amd the script was waaaay too cheesy. It was an attempt to capture the ideas of American Pie, without the witty humour and deeper message(for example, sex isn't everyhting). It was crap, I don't understand how anyone found it worth mentioning.

Actually the director of the first two Harry Potter films directed I Love You, Beth Cooper not the late John Hughes.
