I just read this and I'm confused which doesn't take much but really this made my morning even more bonkers!
I seem to recall Scorsese or writer Schrader saying many years ago they'd like to catch up with Bickle down the line to see what he's up to now which I would be totally up for if that was what They were planning but an actual shot for shot remmake only with a flabby old Bob??? doesn't sound very clever!
We'll see... and the Von Trier effect while i'm a fan of his stuff sound like an odd mix.
