Waltz With Bashir... Not nearly as graceful as one would expect.

Lemme just start by saying that this film was absolutely beautifully animated & designed. However, it fell far, far short of its ambitions. Both in terms of its message, as well as the emotional impact it was meant to have upon its audience.

The majority of the movie takes its sweet time building towards the ultimate exposure of the Christian Phalangist massacre of Palestinian refugees during the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon. And, the journey that Ari Folman must take to regain his memo… Continue

Last of the Great Newspaper Men in Baltimore.

No, this isn't a spin-off of The Wire's final season story arc. Quite the contrary. Rather, this is a sorbid tale of real-life tragedy, apathy, and metropolitan corruption.

I'm certain you're saying to yourself, "I've never heard that before..." *eye roll*
Well, you might be correct if you were talking about New York, L.A., Chicago, Detroit, or Miami.
However, Baltimore is a city that stands head & shoulders above any other American cosmopolis in its sheer lack-a-daisical approach to its c… Continue

Bah', got sick of DeviantArt. One of my cheapass-30 seconds in a nutshell-photos that I uploaded several years ago keeps getting attention and yet something I worked on for months (Batsy vs Termi), aswell as everything else, gets nothing. Not just for myself, but for other amazing artists who get overshadowed by a 13 year old's afternoon anime doodlefest.

My tolerance to take that site seriously eventually ran out.

YOU BETTER NOT BE MISSING ME!!!!!

Oh, I thought you were asking about the Paz spoof.

Unlike 'The Wire', 'The Corner' actually felt like a film.
This isn't a plus, nor a con. Jus' felt like I had to put that out there.
I didn't like the ending. I was hoping in was going to be slightly more ambiguous, I guess. I would've even preferred a mediocre montage.

And how young is that kid? The one who played a detective on 'The Wire', but on this mini series he played DeAndre's friend. Cedric Daniels always fuckin' things up... >_> Anyway, the series is fantastic.

Beautiful.
I should jus' post this on Chig's page to convince him to finally go watch it(would you consider it a minor spoiler?). As well as Generation Kill and Oz... that d-bag.

Silent screams and broken dreams.
Addicts, junkies, and pushas and fiends.
Crowded spaces and sad faces.
Never look back as the police chase us.
Consumed slowly by chaos, a victim of the streets.
Hungry for knowledge, but afraid to eat.
A life of destruction, it seems no one cares.
A manchild alone, with burdens to bear.

I would have stripped down nude as well to ensure that they didn't try to plant any weapons on me, but in retrospect that seemed a bit like overkill.

Hey there....
Just wanted to say hello....
how are you enjoying the cold?
seems like I am interested in downing more hot chocolate than ever..LOL..with whipped cream of course....I may just get addicted to it... ..Curse you Tim Hortens!!!!...LOL what are your feelings about hot chocolate?...do you drink coffee at all?.I have never been able to bring myself to drink it....seems they have all these delicious drinks..I tried one in the Summmer that was pretty tolerable, but this one my nephew bought me was sooooo nasty & I felt bad because those drinks are so expensive...I do like coffee ice cream..LOL..go figure..LOL
As you can see I am rather bored at work right now..LOL..someone just tried to make a deposit for another bank at our drive-up..and I nearly closed my arm in the drawer earlier...it almost closed down on it...I had a real slow reaction time....still hurts a little bit...oh well...
Take care..

As you heard, actress Britney Murphy, who was voice of Luanne Platter passed away this Sunday. She was quite a talented actress who was also best known for movie roles such as Clueless, Drive, Happy Feet, Sin City and 8 Mile.
