Two Hundred Students Suspended for Dress Code Violations

The public schools in my area have drastically changed the rules for appropriate student attire. Student are prohibited, under threat of suspension, from wearing any article of clothing (including shoes, socks, shirts, and pants) with any logos or designs. This includes stripes, plaid, polka dots, floral prints, and even embroidery or colored stitching. Boy's shirts must have collars, and Girls may only wear high neck shirts. My mom is still a dork

I feel this is one of those lesson about how jokes can be taken too seriously and ultimately ruin lives. I just pray there are no witch trials or burnings at the stake any time soon.
