At 6:30pm on November 21, 2009, Jim Smith said…: hmmm..i remember that movie vaugley. It did so-so in the theatres, and i'm not that much into gore flicks. Surprisingly, i say this and i'm a fan of "some" zombie films. I was never a big horror fan or into slasher films at all. My wife innocently rented "Last House on the Left", and that went WAY beyond the norm. There was a rape scene that should'nt have gone on for as long as it did, and the violence was just too much. I believe you can be scary without going over the top...and as for comedy mixed in, "Shawn of the Dead" and "Zombieland" did it brilliantly.Maybe it's my old age, but i seek some refinement and class in films if they're
to get my attention.
