This is for people who still like Mr.Batman here even though he's had some rough times, and for people who hate the media for doing this to him.

As an industry, I wouldn't rule out the possibility (of course, the same director is not attached to this film). I'm not a vampire fan (more of a zombie type), but I'd say Hollywood has to have had produced one subtle vampire flick. If not to Let The Right One In's standard (I haven't seen that film, yet), then pretty close. Like, that one with Tom Cruise maybe? My memory is fuzzy, but I recall a few vampire films that I can't name that were at the opposite end of the spectrum than, say, Twilight.
At any rate, I believe the actual subject matters little to how subtle a film is or can be. I forgot your actual comment, but I was just trying to point out that at this moment, I wouldn't rule anything out. The film can turn out to be something you were not expecting or completely what you were smelling (whatever gives you that indication. I admit, I know very little about the films/novel, so anything is fair game for me).

I've had a hard time paying attention and appreciating commentaries on movies, but the first one I actually had fun with and listened to more than once was the Repo: The Genetic Opera commentary will Alexa Vega, Bill Mosley, Ogre, and Darren Lynn ...

superkavi Did you think to kill me? There's no flesh and blood within this cloak to kill. There is only an idea. Ideas are bulletproof.

superkavi In the Beginning, the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
