Hey kids, it's me Carlyle. I'm just your standard, run of the mill animated movie reviewer. I enjoy watching movies, talking about movies, arguing about movies, dropping names of all my famous friends (that are in movies) and long walks on the beach. All Time Worst Movies:
Gummo, The Doom Generation, and about a thousand films that only I and the filmmaker's family have seen. Recent worsts include Daddy Day Camp, Bratz, and Codename: The Cleaner, Witless Protection, Over Her Dead Body, Meet the Spartans, and The Love Guru. And coming soon: Disaster Movie!
Favorite Actors or Actresses:
Right now I'm keeping an eye on Justin Long and Amanda Bynes, both of whom are really great, but are waiting for their BIG HIT to convince everyone else. Jonah Hill is a current fave, and I will watch Samuel L. Jackson read the phonebook, fight snakes or even star in The Man 2. I might not like it...but I'll watch it. Ving Rhames, Kevin Spacey, Edward Norton, George Clooney, Brad Pitt all round out modern all time favorites. I'm also a huge Claude Rains fan, and yes, I'm big into Lee Marvin.

Ask Carlyle: Who should be the next Batman villain?

I get this question A LOT. Mostly as a joke these days (we even got it at the Spill Party Podcast), sure, but we still get it. So I figured I might as well get around to answering it. Truth is, I'm sick to death of all the STANDARD Batman villains. I've seen them done to death. Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Two-Face, Catwoman. How many more incarnations do we need? Here are the 5 different guys I personally want to see in a new batman movie.

I just checked out your profile for the first time and I was curious about a couple things.

First off, are you looking forward to Avatar? Do you think James Cameron is going to show audiences how 3D films should be done?

Dude have you seen the movie "The Children," because if not I recommend it to you. I think you would like the psychological horror on it, but then again there are some, "Now that's some bullsh**, I would've done this" moments. If I were to rate it I'd give it a high Matinee, but I wanna see what you have to say about it.

i listened to the recent A Couple of Cold Ones post and im defently going to watch the directors cut of kingdom of heaven is it a official realece or do u have to find it on like bootleg or somthing

Hey Carlyle... I listened to your audio review of A Christmas Carol, and I didn't know that Dickens originally wrote it as a horror. That made we think my rating on the film, but I gave it a Matinee, just because alot of visuals were distracting for me. But he I just wanted to say thanks for shining that light on me. Also I loved that you mentioned the Magnificent Seven gun fight on that one pod cast.
