Because Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Spaced, and even lil' old Asylum are awesome. Mental institutions, gunfights, imaginary gunfights, car chases, dogs that can't look up, dancing Irish zombies... is there anything that these men cannot do?

These bastards are the leeches of humanity waiting for the next moment for a celebrity to yawn so that they can make a article about it slanting the star's life. I can't stand these fuckers nor gossip magazines and if you can't either join this group

Batman The Brave the Bold is more for the kids but the show has merit. If you love this show or the old JLU shows or just JLA in general, welcome to the group.

I could see Samus and Zelda work out on film. They'd be hella epic, but in this day and age, I don't expect it soon. Hollywood's going through the superhero phase right now, hopefully when we get in the game, we might initiate the "Good" video game/ anime movie trend.

That's funny, I plan on directing a Dragonball movie it the opportunity ever presented itself. Either I manage to get the rights away from fox, or the head of fox changes, it'll be good.

CAPTAIN THUNDERBALL'S: Top 3 Best Trailers of 2008 for 2009!

I don't know why, but for some reason I'm really looking forward to 2009 even more so than I looked forward to 2008. These are just a few previews for 2009 movies that I thought deserved the utmost recognition because they are so well done and make you want to rush out to the theaters right now.

3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Although I think the trailer looks spectacular it should have been an "R".

CAPTAIN THUNDERBALL: New State of Play Trailer

"Oscar winner Russell Crowe leads an all-star cast in a blistering thriller about a rising congressman and an investigative journalist embroiled in an case of seemingly unrelated, brutal murders. Crowe plays D.C. reporter Cal McCaffrey, whose street smarts lead him to untangle a mystery of murder and collusion among some of the nation's most promising political and corporate figures in State of Play, from acclaimed director Kevin Macdonald."

I'll Have a Blu (Ray) Christmas Without You! (Christmas Reissue)

Hey Spillios,

I may be on the more positive end of the Blu-Ray stick, but even the Nay-Sayers, must agree that the quality of Blu-Ray vs. the common DVD is inarguable. This season we have a wonderful bounty of nice Blu stuff and also this year we have probably the best selection of DVDs in years. So without further to do, let me present you with the Blu-Ray bundles for the family.

CAPTAIN THUNDERBALL: Ten 2009 Most Anticipated Releases (The Ones You Haven't Heard Yet)

Hey Spillios! Captain Thunderball here,

There have been a lot of 2009 Anticipation List lately, if you haven't noticed. On the list you pretty much see the same things. Wolverine, Sherlock Holmes, Watchmen, Terminator Salvation and the list goes on. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I guarantee you that I'll be at X-Men Origins opening weekend and gawking at Ms. Fox inside an unusually cold movie theater. This is just an alternative list telling you ten movies you maybe haven't seen
