well...

just been having a rough couple of months...my Dad has had some health issues which have resulted in two hospital stays as well as some rehab to help him get better..he just got home today..I have been spending every night at their house with my Mom...guess my Mom wants me to stay a few more nights to see how it goes with him back home..he just doesn't look as well as I had hoped...guess we will see how it goes...

well they put some fancy dancy plate in my leg...the Dr seemed to be quite taken with it......the bone has healed, but they don't tell you that it takes a long time to get it back to normal.....if that even happens.....but i seem to be having troubles with the nerves and my circulation and being on my feet all day does not help....

thank goodness we have had a decent Winter..I was really nervous about the snow & ice this year and we had a bad Winter last year...and the funny thing is that the weather was not bad that day...hmmmm

My Mom is doing a bit better....thanks for that as well.....if there is anything that I have learned from her experience is that you cannot take anything for granted and do not be willing to just accept what the Dr's say....ask a lot of questions.....take notes.....keep all the records and papers.....and do not assume that they will do their job....we thought they were taking care of my Mom...that was their job......

Hope you had a decent Valentine's ay...I actually had a nice one...I  did not have to work and I spent the day just doing what I wanted....watched tv....tried a new recipe.....just took it easy.....it was great...now if I could have joined my guy in Scotland...that would have been awesome....just hoping one day I can get the money to do that...

Sounds like you had some pretty long days......that 20 page paper on Japanese Disaster films sounds intriguing...

ummm..that might be her..think it was just about a year ago, when I last heard from you.....I am soooo glad that you finally found a girl that was just as crazy about you as you are about her....I am happy for you.....sooooo happy!

I am sure that it cannot be easy being apart, but if you truly care about someone...it CAN work.....so I know you will be ok

I guess that I just got so used to talking to you over the last few years..that when you stopped..it was just really odd....and seemed so unlike you......

I fell on January 10, 2011 as I was leaving for work and I broke my ankle..3 days late I had to have surgery to have a plate and screws put in..I was out of work until May 9th and I have a couple of months of therapy..my ankle is still not 100% and since I have to stand most of the day....it still swells up...I still see my foot Dr pretty regularly...I have tried various ankle supports...and none of them have worked...still having trouble finding the right shoes....it has been a bigger pain than I expected....this may just be as good as it gets.,....only time will tell....my old office was closed and I was moved to a new location...luckily it is closer to home....other than dealing with my Mom's health issues...it has just been dealing with my own...work....and just trying to keep up with family and friends..and watching my shows and catching a movie here and there and playing some games on my iPad which can be highly addictive...=D

I hope we can keep in touch....I am excited about your future plans.....looking forward to hearing about your projects
