About Me:: I'm a very chill person who laughs a lot. I love to watch movies and Tv. When I was younger I took a film studies class and got addicted to movies even more. I notice more things in movies now but all I really want is a good movie thats fun and has a good story. Theres a lot of movies I still need to see so if you see a good movie tell me.

At 1:58am on August 29, 2009, Jessica said…: Honestly I usually try Netflix for their free two week trial but since I've been on summer break and bored with nothing much else to do, I've been a member for a month or so. I get tv shows on dvd but the best thing is just streaming movies online in high quality. They have a lot of old movies but some current ones that have come out on dvd as well that you can watch instantly, and a lot of tv shows available as well. If you ever find those free two week trial promotions, definitely try it out. I just saw The Maltese Falcon last night, it was good but I wasn't very excited by it, and honestly Bogart isn't one of my favorite actors haha.

Yeah, I wish there was a Spill get together here in California but in Norcal where we're at haha. Although it seems more likely one would happen in San Diego like for Comic Con or in L.A. After listening to the LDT and currently the LEOG I really want to make it out for the Spill party next summer!

Actually the rest of the summer movies I'm looking forward to are now Harry Potter, District 9, maybe Funny People, Julia and Julia, and maybe Inglorious Basterds.

At 5:25pm on June 30, 2009, Jessica said…: Hi there, I'm doing pretty well, trying to survive summer weather. It's been 104-106 the past couple of days and finally it's died down a few degrees. Last week I saw The Hangover and Transformers...guess which one I loved a lot more than the other haha. The Hangover was genius, I hadn't seen Zach Galifianakis in a while other than doing stand up and I love Ed Helms (I'm an Office fan) and Bradley Cooper is very likable. The three did a great job, not sure abotu a sequel idea but if the story and script is good then I'm all for it.

Transformers on the other hand...it wasn't as terrible as the Spill crew made it out to be but the parts they said sucked sure enough did. I'm not very into Transformers as it is and it was hard to tell all the Decepticons apart. I can't believe in one shot they literally showed Megan Fox's bare legs then back up to her boobs in a second- totally sums up the entire point of her in the movie: to look hot (except she's not!). Special effects were great but yeah it was dragged out to long and the story was not strong at all. Shia Laboeuf I don't mind- I like him actually but with what he had to work with...ugh.

I'm now looking forward to Public Enemies and Harry Potter. Have you caught up on any new releases?
