Watchmen graphic novel just barely avoids having the video game be considered official canon
Dave Gibbons narrowly dodges a George Lucas by saying that the video game only uses bits and pieces of the more obscure stuff that Alan Moore already established decades ago.
Oh, yeah, and "All Star Batman and Robin" is still considered canon within the "The Dark Knight Returns" universe.
Sometimes theres justice and sometimes Alan Moore kicks you square in the balls.
