I have to disagree about the acting. Tom Welling and the rest of the cast have been great this season along with the guy playing Zod. Hell ever Green Arrow's been acting his ass off. This year has been the best year since season 3 if you ask me. I can forgive the the sfx since they're on the CW and have a limited budget. It seems to me that they put money into the fx that matter. Me and a buddy of were talking about how the show this season is like watching a whole new series. They're finally moving the show forward and they seem to be caring about the continuity in the comics and incorporating it into the scripts. This is by far my favorite season in a long time.
Not sure if you've seen Kador but I did not want that episode to end. I'm really looking forward to the newly announced Smallville Justice Society movie that is being written by Geoff Johns *the best writer in comics right now if you ask me* this season. They just cast Pam Grier to play Amanda Waller. I can't fucking wait. I also can't wait for a season 10 which should be the series last year I hope. Hope this answered you question bro. If you disagree I'm sure there's a legion of people who agree with you. Smallville viewers are very opinionated and I understand. It's Superman we're talking about here. It's like talking about who's version of Jesus is better lol.
Pretty good so far. Got to see Art Spiegelman and Robert Crumb speak at UT last night. Got paid to drink wine and paint a mural today, and will get to plug some more hours in tomorrow. Any little bit of $ is a blessing right now. Also working on 2 art projects I'm enjoying, so all in all a good weekend!
Yup, it sure was. As far as I understand, the program glitched (again) during the saving process and only saved the first 10 minutes of the recording. I'm beginning to wonder if garageband can only handle a certain amount of data before it gets overloaded (apparently the recording was REALLY long), or what is going on. It did this a few months ago when Cyrus switched to the new OS. So, I don't know if it's the program, or what. So, we recorded another episode to go up on Friday, but I wasn't there for it, so I have no idea what they talked about.
Yup, tonight's recording will be next Friday's episode. So, be patient. I'm wondering if we'll need to edit it before hand.....the way everyone is talking it sounds like it's going to be insane! I only met the gang back in March, so I wasn't around for last year's "lost episode".
HAHA! Yeah, I was 4 vodka drinks in at that point, and I was just DONE. Glad no one was actually mad at me after wards. I've noticed the reason it's so bad is someone interrupts you, then someone interrupts THAT person, and so forth until we've run off on a 15 minute tangent. And by that time I've lost my original train of thought.
Tonight we're recording at the Halloween party....that will be interesting!
Normally I do, or I have my dart gun. But this last episode, I was sitting between Jason and Beau and we were all having conversations on the side. On top of Jason and I messing with twitter. I actually wasn't even really paying that much attention to what was going on. Also, I was perhaps more tipsy than I realized and couldn't seem to form my words as much as I wanted to.
When we FINALLY get to the Whedon episode though, something I feel I am an expert on, I will be holding my own.
During the most recent episode (which still isn't up yet, boo), Jason, Grant and I were all twittering the show, so I ended up not being on the mic a lot because I was all distracted. I got a few opinions in!

Paramount has issued a press release gloating that Paranormal Activity has just passed $100 million domestically. And they should gloat, with a film that was made for only $15,000, and purchased by Paramount for either $300,000 or $350,000, depend...
