Once upon a time - approx. two years ago - I was a huge fan of the book series The Clique. Then, I came to my senses and realized how repetitive, shallow, and bad the books were. I still feel a little wave of shame when I walk by my bookshelf and see all eight books sitting there, staring at me.



Then, I heard about this movie. I was excited to see it, partly out of morbid curiousity, and partly because a part of me still loves the shallow fluff of these series.…
