I enjoyed it, yeah. It had more of a story to it.There was another film released like that round about the same time called Football Factory, but it no real story to speak of as oppossed to Green Street which did.
I'm still in two minds about the ending. As said in the last comment I saw the film first so when I heard of the comic book ending. I kind of thought it was silly. lol
I have seen the first two Elm St films. In the originals Freddy was a conivcited child killer who got oit of jail. So a group of blood thirsty parents hunt him down and kill Freddy. In the remake he is only suspected of such a crime. But yeah. Jackie's version of Freddy look promising.
As good as Robert Englund was. He got too jokey in the latter films.
Well first off. I can't believe the film I asked about was one I have seen but didn't know it as we call it Green Street here, lol.
Yeah, I enjoyed the movie. Saw the movie first and then went on to read the book and U are indeed right about it not getting as deep as the book did with it's subject matter. I'm probably one of the few U will find on this site who is torn over the endings, as I liked both, bit did find the book's just a little bit better impact wise. But some folk fuckin hated the changed ending.
And yes Jackie H did nail Ror down. He is the ONLY reason I'm intrested in the Elm St remake.
