Is that Freddy's final look? No, it isn't - we are continuing to refine Freddy's look. Many people commented about the CGI on his face - and I don't want to give everything away but I will say this - Freddy's face is 98% practical make-up. Moreo...

For book lovers. I don't mean comic books or magazines. I mean what people read before being a nerd meant reading stuff in word balloons or foreign movie subtitles. For people that know of books that weren't made into movies.

FAQs about Nightmare on Elm Street

Is that Freddy's final look?

No, it isn't - we are continuing to refine Freddy's look. Many people commented about the CGI on his face - and I don't want to give everything away but I will say this - Freddy's face is 98% practical make-up. Moreover, as you now know we went hardcore on what a burn victim really looks like, and I can't imagine what the comments would have been if he DIDN'T look like a real burn victim.

Is that Freddy's final voice?

No, Jackie spent so much time o… Continue

Why I'm actually excited about NoES reboot

Ok, so remakes and reboots are 95 - 98% useless and horrid abominations, but there are a few that stick out. Ok let's take the controversial Platinum Dunes. They are responsible for a lot of anger due to slasher reboots and remakes. Some people complained when they rebooted Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street. All of which are considered the slasher equivalents of Citizen Kane in different ways. However if you think about it the originals are really the only on… Continue

Ok so back in the days of college/uni I was recommended a macbook pro. For two yeas it was a great machine. I couldn't afford Apple Care though. It ha already cost me £1700 ( around $3000), so fuck another £150 or whatever.

First of all it gave my lap burns. Why have it as a laptop if you can't… Continue

Superman vs Batman vs Wolverine vs Spiderman vs Professor X

Ok my money is on Professor X. He may be in a wheelchair, but it doesn't mean he can't make everyone in the ring think that they're a chicken, and then telekinetically kicking their ass.

I reckon the runner up would be Superman. I mean Wolverine may just may be able to beat his ass, because Superman may be stronger than Steel, but can he be Stronger than Adimantium? Let's just remember Superman is only strong due to his planet's gravity pull. Ok he has laser eyes, heat breath and… Continue

Shameless Opera Advertising

Ok this is the first time since I don't know when I first got a MAC that I've been excited about a piece of Software, usually it's about a new film or a new game, but this time I'm excited about a new internet browser.

Ever since Google announced the Chrome OS and the Chrome Browser I've been researching into who has come up with similar browsers (since I own a crapbook pro, and not a PC). This is when I come across Opera's new browser "Unite." Ok so what could possibly make me excited about a… Continue

I think it looks a lot better than the previous Platinum Dune remakes. And it looks to be following a lot more closely to its original source than the other movies did. Their movies have that sleek, glossy look to them that I do like, but they've let me down in the end.
I think the whole part with him taking his jacket off was kind like a "Oh shit! There's the sweater!" moment. Kinda a metamorphosis into the Freddy. Looks like they're kinda playing it as if he was innocent though, when the parents chased him.
Any death of anyone involved in Twilight is A okay in my book. I also don't mind his voice. I think it's better to make the character his own, rather than to try to replicate what Englund has made iconic. The face I'm still up in the air about. It reminds me of Gary Oldman's character in Hannibal. (The dude chewed up by pigs). Kinda looked cgi tampered when they showed it at the end also. But I'm definitely there, come April. Hope it turns out better than the Friday remake.

well, i would also like them to slow him down a bit
he's not as scary or looming when he's all fast and stuff

and nice call on the chainsaw, i want to see more weapons like that
maybe a shovel or some of those big sheers too (what's with the gardening tools? lol)

your idea are good
i like the 2nd one the most :)
and i agree with the fact that they need some more suspense, that thing they just made was as lame as hell

i want them to reopen camp crystal lake as a summer camp that they are trying to expand and make more campgrounds 'n such
as have one group of people about my age (fuck frat shit) go out and stay in the area they are building in. find a reason why... like stuff has been going missing or they are working for the crew in some way.

mainly i want them to take out the, there-is-a-killer-place-to-get-pot-out-here, thing they were doing

then they find jason's hideaway place (minus the underground tunnels), and they brush it off. then they start dying one by one is some better ways with some better tools. they are stuck way out in the woods. but, i don't want them to explain everything about jason, i want the kids to be picked off and they have no idea why. if they have to, then they could have an outside source figuring out what's happening and who jason is, but i prefer not.

just a simple plot, not a ton of frills
it's a slasher film
oh, and it needs to be a touch shorter lol
