I tried the same, but it’s quite hard. Avenger stuff pops up everywhere. On Tumblr, Facebook, as advertising and of course all the trailers, teasers, posters and so on. OK, I took a peek at the soundtrack, but that’s all. I just HAD to hear the theme ^^.

I’m kinda jealous of you, I wish I could watch it this week, but a friend of mine get’s married soon and his bachelor party will be on this weekend. So I won’t have any time to for parties, movies or anything else than the party preparations >_<. 

The first viewer reactions from people who saw The Avengers are out and I have to admit, I pretty much looks like you were right and this movie will be as awesome, as everybody hoped. And I’m almost shocked nobody said anything about Whedon killing a major character, that’s kinda suspicious. Everybody knows that’s his shtick o_o.

Finished off Thanksgiving with one of my favorite German films, Mostly Martha...

Turkey sirloin marinated in Rice wine, slow cooked with a thin coating of Caribbean spices & Chinese BBQ sauce. Topped with vegetable gravy and slices of white mushrooms. Steamed white rice surrounding Cajun spice scallops marinated in jerk sauce with my own grown mint. Romaine with blackberries & diced vine tomatoes with Raspeberry nector vinegarette.

My mint plant is to the far left. Yea, I really like that Stark mug. Need to get a stein when I am in Germany. *sigh* can't wait. :) 

Had a busy night of work last night...Was stationed down in the psychiatric ER. Lesson of the day, don't mix alcohol with drugs while stopping your psychiatric meds and join Occupy Wall Street then wake up the next morning and say, "Can I go home now? I'm ok. No big deal." *SIGH* 

Habibi was good but not great. It's a very heart wretching tale of suffering and how religion is a means of education and stories are used to persevere through times but it takes the safe route comparing the Qua'ran with the Bible and not explaining how a female sold into slavery supports a religion which in a theocracy supports trading women like donkeys. I think that would raise the reader's understanding of faith and economics instead of a nice bittersweet story of forbidden romance...

Finished watching The Skin I live In...pretty sure that if this movie was shown to every male that sexual predatory behavior towards women would end. Such disturbing subject matter but so well acted and executed. What a great film even though my mind was scarred from it.
