All Time Favorite Movies:

I know there are better movies then these but in terms of enjoyment watching these are my favorites: The Warriors,Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Shaun of the Dead, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind,Princess Mononoke,The History Boys, Akira, American History X

Favorite Actors or Actresses:

On my c-list Aubrey Plaza, Kat Dennings, Rupert Grint, and Summer Glau all have a quality that I find vital for supporting actors so I hope they make a career in it so that the film industry has a depth that is usually associated with hollywood
Ben Foster, Toby Jones, Ellen Page, Nathan Fillion, Kristen Wiig, and are all b-list on other peoples lists but they really seem to hit all the right points when they do their roles so I always check out anything they're involved in.
More conventionally though Simon Pegg, Emma Stone, Sean Penn, Anne Hathaway and John Malkovich always bring a subtle quality to every roll no matter how insignificant so their movies are nearly all in my collection.

Favorite Directors:

1. Edgar Wright is quickly becoming my favorite of all time and always seems to make the (wright) moves [indeed I dare pun, and you can't stop me ha-hu ha ha-hu ha].
2. Zack Snyder 300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead remake is enough for me. (and even Sucker Punch, but dont read to much into that).
3. Danny Boyle....just...Danny Boyle
4. Woddy Allen has an honesty in his movies that I've become comfortable with and always willing to see whats new from him
5. Judd Apatow, I'm simply a fan of the work. Always providing solid comedy. and he's learned when to back away the camera when a scene doesn't have the comic chops and it seems to save that specific scene and then he follows that scene with hilarity .
