Nah dude, don't bother with Blair Witch Project. The movie only did well when it came out because of the hype around it, and the fact that the studio who made it payed off TV channels like "History" to make fake shows pertaining to a evil witch in some hillbilly woods, making some people think it was a real documentary and therefore making the smoldering piece of shit movie "scary" to some. Now that we know it was all fake, the movie is even less enjoyable.

If you want a good mondo, try to obtain Cannibal Holocaust. It's an oldie (70's) but It's actually more intelligent then the title makes you think, employs the documentary-gone-wrong style, and has legitimate controversy surrounding it. (was banned, directer brought to trial to prove he didn't kill people, animal mutilations) and it's a way better flick then Blair Witch lol.

True dat, that might be why I enjoy the 1980's movies so much since I was 9yrs old in 1980 and only 18 yrs old by 1989. lol

I like Spy Kids 1... and that is only because it was so crazy that it never repeated itself in the first movie. The OTHER Spy Kids movies could rot in hell.

At the time of Knights Tale, I was dating a history major, and she ripped into that movie MUCH worse than I did. I just thought it was a predictable and boring movie that upped the "modern music" to the point of being silly. She tore it a new asshole when she saw it. lol

I think, from what I'm getting from people I talked to, that they expected the CG to be photorealistic, which was never going to be the case. Regardless, it's the most detailed and beautiful CG I've yet to see. As far as the content, I only saw part of it but it all looked like good stuff. My only worry is that it will be so much like real literary science fiction that it'll lose the attention of some of the younger folks out there. I mean, I'll still probably dig the hell out of it but I'd like them to continue the story if that is their end goal.

Anyways, the setting has great details of design that we'll prop never see in the movie. I heard parts of the movie was filmed in Vietnam, I'm original there & very anxious to see how it being rep. Love James Newton Howard, if he's on board then the music will be epic.

Where do u get your avatar news? I primary look @ http://avatardestinyportal.com/ &

Actually, I've not picked up any Brisingr, so I can't comment. Sort of got on a Tom Clancy kick again, and started to re-read all of my old Clancy books before Op-Center came out. Stuff like Hunt for Red October, Sum of All Fears, and The Cardinal and the Kremlin books again. Occasionally I'll do that, go back and start to re-read the books of "yesteryear". Last time it was Heinlein and it took me FOREVER to finish the ones I had of his. lol

Actually that is a point of contention that I have with the Eragon books too... Eldest is COMPLETELY screwed out of that movie, and it DID felt like it was never the same thing without the Eldest connections involved.

Quick, but Eventful Update, The Last Airbender!
