in 2006, I sought out the perfect crystal and the ultimate staff to assemble and create an accurate costume based on "Gandalf the Grey" from FELLOWSHIP OF THE RINGS. The beard was the most fun and interesting creation... I used liquid latex and natural horse hair and essentially glued it to my face. The beard was easily removable and can be reattached with minimal fuss... The crystal rests atop a super-bright LED with a battery and controller in the pouch beneath my fingers in the photo.
