When Bane said "For you" he was talking about his size, not about the pain if the mask was removed.

@neverserious Actually the dialog in the plane goes like this

FBI AGENT- "If I pull that off will you die?"

Bane- "it would be extremely painful"

FBI AGENT- "You're a big guy"

Bane- "For you"

actually he means that if we pulled off the mask it would be extremely painful for the FBI agent, meaning if he pulled off the mask (or tried to) BANE WOULD FUCK HIM UP!

Asking someone why they haven't killed you is not the same as asking them can you die. It's a plot hole because Bane's entire strategy hinges on Bruce asking him for death and Bane being the goodly neighbour, giving him a cop of dying. You see if you think back to the beginning when Bane was inside the Plane, and that guy asks him if it would hurt if he took off the mask, and Bane says, "for you." That didn't make any sense. Why would Bane's face mask hurt someone else if it were removed. So case and point, I want some taquitos. I once made a promise to a choking telecomunication rep that I would always be never serious and that rep was Michael Clarke Duncan.

*Nerd Moment* *pushes up glasses held together by tape* Well you see Mr.NeverSerious Bruce Wayne asks Bane at the beginning of the scene why he didn't just kill him. So there plot hole filled!
