Comment by Samuel on March 25, 2013 at 10:20pm What was the episode where Perks of being a Wallflower was talked about?

@Rendy Jones--Thanks for the input, I think I will give those sequels a shot

@BENTOBOX--I like the idea, but I'd have to change my title from blogger to film PUNdit.
Comment by Rendy Jones on March 19, 2013 at 10:21pm Bryan I'm still young but in my taste Mulan 2 is alright

Comment by Cropsey on March 7, 2013 at 12:48pm E.E.E. I know question is directed to the hosts but to answer your question 1...
If you want a movie that takes a dramatic and totally unexpected shift i recommend 'Kill List'. British film that did festivals a few years back. It's a tough watch but, it's a truely remarkable film.
Comment by KingpinLarry on March 7, 2013 at 8:23am Have you seen Naked Lunch? That movie is wierd as fuk. It's like a slow moving Videodrome, with a bad plot.
Question for you guys, or more like a two questions.
1) What movie(s) had a twist that caught you completely off guard, in a good way?
2) What movie(s) would you say took you on an emotional rollcoaster ride and left you wanting a sequel?
Thanks. I really love your shows. I listen to them at work and it helps the day go by faster.

You shouldn't go with the cheapest especially with Blu-Ray players. A couple reasons would be:
-quality (build, visual, audio, downloading/updating, wifi)
-ability to upconvert dvd's (some do a terrible job of this and that's importmant if you have a reasonable amount of them)
Just read up a top 10 list somewhere like HighDefDigest or Blu-Ray.com and you'll be able to find something you like most likely in your price range. Lastly, Brands.. I'd say LG, Toshiba, Samsung, Sony, and Panasonic are all great and stay away from Dynex, (most of) Vizio, and Insignia. In the end though just because it's a good brand doesn't make it 100%. Gotta do your research.
Just go to those sites I mentioned and you should be A-Ok. Don't spend too much but not too little; find a sweet spot ;). Hope I could help.
