Morality of Zombie Killing

Kill only the zombies that threaten your life. Outside of that I think it would be unethical to kill just for the sake of killing. Of course, that's how I feel without it actually happening, so who knows what I'd do if it actually went down

If they're the slow ones that just swing at you and groan, then I cloud just walk or jog around them and save my ammo or the dulling of a sword.

I'm not gonna try and rationalize with a being who's main goal is to consume my flesh, are you crazy? I could see it being hard to kill your family members if they are infected but they have no rights there not even human. Technically there dead.

Not to make this a sociological deconstruction, but the main attraction for most zombie-fans (myself included) is the thrill of actions without consequences. If were in that situation, we could 'kill' the zombies without fear of retribution or affecting our conscience. Ditto for all of our other repressed anti-social desires, like blowing up buildings, stealing cars (to escape the zombie hordes), etc. So, if there is ever a zombie outbreak, be sure to wave and scream, or I might just take your head off with a 30.06.
